We’ll be celebrating with the ocean breeze and island magic, so think “Zanzibar Cocktail Chic.” Flowy fabrics, bold colors, and comfortable shoes you can dance in are all encouraged! More details will be in your formal invite.

We completely understand. This is a big trip and not everyone will be able to make it. We love you no less for it! There will be other ways to celebrate with us including live chats/video calls, recorded memories, and options to shower us with love and gifts!

Yes we do! Please know that your presence (whether in person or virtual) is a huge gift to us, but if you would like to bless us with a gift, we have a registry that will go towards helping us finish our future home in Zanzibar! The registry can be found here.

Yes! Zanzibari weddings incorporate elements of both traditional Swahili culture and islamic practices. So there will be 3 days of wedding/ceremony events for our guests to enjoy and take part in including a Henna party and night of gifts for the ladies, time at the Mosque for the men, and community charity (Sadaqah)!

The wedding events will be a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. You will be given more specifics closer to the date!
